Goalkeeper Ed joined Huddersfield Town as a youngster and worked his way up through the groups to Under 21 level until he was released in the summer of 2016. He was born in Yorkshire of Polish and Irish ancestry.

He had loan spells at Trafford, FC United and Bishop Auckland, and at the start of the 2016-17 season he had a brief spell at Fylde.

He signed for Northern League Bishop Auckland after he left Fylde and made eight appearances last season as we reached the play offs.

He was number two to Adam Bartlett, but when Bartlett left for York City in November 2017, Ed was made first choice.
