Supporters banned for use of abusive and discriminatory language

Incidents at the Chorley game

Two fans have been banned from attending Darlington FC home matches by the club for several months following their use of abusive and discriminatory language during the match against Chorley on Good Friday.

We'd like to remind all fans of the  Board's policy on expected behaviours which is available on the website here:

The club is also currently carrying out a diversity and inclusion action plan imposed by the FA, and having had progress inspected by the FA during the same Chorley match -- the inspector witnessed one of the incidents -- we expect that the FA will continue its monitoring of the club for a further 12 months.

To help understand what's offensive and what isn't, here's a link to the Kick It Out website and their guide to inclusive language
