David Mills appointed as Community and Operations Consultant

Aims to take the club forward with the fanbase and wider community
Darlington Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of David Mills as the club’s new Community and Operations Consultant.
David is no stranger to the club having served it for several years before, and will be working with the DFC board and other club officials to explore ways of taking the club forward positively with our fans and the local community, as well as taking on other responsibilities.
John Vickerman, HR advisor to the DFC board said; “We’re very pleased to welcome David back to the club.
“He has a great background at the club, and also has wide experience of the league. We’re sure that his personal qualities will be of great benefit to the club in helping us connect with the fanbase and wider community.”
David, who starts his new role immediately, said; “I’m absolutely delighted to be returning to Darlington Football Club and I hope I can add value to the tireless work of everyone on the Board and the countless other volunteers, as we continue the journey for a thriving and sustainable football club at the heart of its community. I’m excited by the challenges ahead and I’ve accepted a role that will look to evaluate and build on the various operations across the club, including the matchday experience for fans and club sponsors, and to ensure meaningful, long lasting community partnerships.”
