Players show support for the Heading Home campaign
When the players came out for the pre-match warm up against Ossett Town yesterday they were wearing specially made 'Heading Home' t shirts.
Thanks to the kind permission of the EVO-STIK league and its Sponsorship Manager, the t-shirts will be worn during pre-match warm ups for the next few games and display the Heading Home campaign logo which is now being recognised all over town, as the football club steps up its Heading Home awareness message.
Life-long Quakers supporter David Robinson, Managing Director at Screentech based in Darlington, kindly provided the t-shirts and printed them with the Heading Home logo for which the club is very grateful. The Board of Directors would like to thank David for his continued support. David said, “It is a privilege to be involved with Darlington Football Club in the project to bring the club back to its home town, where it belongs. It’s great to see the club being run for the benefit of the community instead of being one man’s ego trip. I would urge any business thinking of getting involved with the club to do so and there is no better time to do so than the present”.
From Monday the Quaker Retail volunteer staff will also be wearing the Heading Home t shirts, as will the hospitality team at our home games. Watch out for others wearing them too.. Spread the Word!!
