Darlington have today signed 18 year old Dan Maw on a dual registration basis from Sunderland RCA.

Dan. who can play on the left side of midfield or defence, has been signed as emergency cover because two Darlington players have gone down with a virus, and three others are injured.

Manager Josh Gowling said; "We're grateful that Dan has been able to step in because there have been issues with a virus in the squad this week."

Dan is part of our Academy set up, and has been with Sunderland RCA in the Northern League this season -- we'd like to thank them for their swift co-operation on Friday morning.
