Sunderland Red House 4 Darlington Under 15s 3

Darlington u15 suffered their first defeat this season but still put in a decent performance.

Sunderland Redhouse took the lead with a stunning free kick and had full control of the first half. 3-1 at half time with a massive challenge ahead.

Second half saw Darlington fight back bring the score back to 3-2 but a Sunderland penalty saw them extend their lead to 4-2.

Darlington never gave up and after a strong midfield play they scored to make it 4-3. The last 15 minutes everything was thrown at the Redhouse goal mouth with their goalkeeper pulling out some stunning saves. With all this attacking momentum space had opened up at the back but the Darlington keeper was also on top form.

In the end Sunderland won 4-3 and both teams were a credit to how football can be played.
