Darlington F.C Women are delighted to announce the signing of Holly Nattrass for the 2026/27 season. 

Holly becomes the Quaker Women’s second signing of the summer. Only 16 years old, Holly becomes the 13th player to have signed for the Women’s senior team having represented the club at youth level. Holly started her youth football straight in at Durham RTC and was on the books at Durham from U10-U12. 

After leaving Durham, Holly joined Darlington F.C Girls Quakers team at U13, playing a year up from her own age group. She played there for a few seasons before dropping back down to play at her own age group with our current U16s squad. 

Holly had the following to say after signing for the Quaker Women: “I’m really looking forward to be playing my first senior season with Darlington having progressed through their youth teams from U13’s. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of senior football while working and learning from my more experienced teammates. Thank you to the Quaker Women’s coaching staff for this opportunity!”

Manager Shaun Mackenzie said; “Having coached Holly in her younger years, it’s been fantastic to see her progress and I’m delighted to be able hand her an opportunity to represent Darlington at senior level. Holly is a fantastic footballer technically and definitely won’t shy out of a tackle. Another versatile player who can play in midfield, but also do a job at full back.

“ I think she will be one to watch this season and has really impressed us during pre season. The pathway keeps providing players and it’s great to see some of the players in our youth system are ready to step straight into senior football as it can be a big jump from youth to adult football.”
