Darlington Under 8s win the title

Darlington Youth Under 8s have won the league in their debut season!

Formed in October, they went through their season undefeated, winning every game for a 100 per cent record.

Their top scorer was Harry Lambert, who scored 37 goals which meant that he won the Golden Boot award, while goalkeeper and captain Zach Judson won the Golden Glove, with four clean sheets. Zach was supplied with gloves by Middlesbrough business cs-gkpro.com.

Coach Adam Willsher said; “It was a very successful first season for the team, and one that has helped the development of the team massively. They all have worked hard throughout the season and got their reward which they deserve. It’s good to see their hard work pay off.”

The lads who have helped to lift the league title are: Zach Judson, Jack Phoenix, Harry Lambert, Ewan Irvine,Charlie Cole, Lewis Coleman and Logan Williams.
