As a supporter-owned football club, we understand better than most that no one wants to see prices increase. Every decision that affects our supporters is considered carefully, because the people making those decisions are supporters too.

Last season we agreed to freeze prices despite the continued increase in the cost of operating the club. Throughout that period, the cost of staging matches, maintaining Blackwell Meadows and supporting a competitive playing squad has continued to rise.

Before making any decision, we carried out a comprehensive benchmarking exercise, comparing our admission prices with clubs across the National League North and neighbouring divisions. This gave us confidence that, even with the changes being introduced, our prices remain competitive and continue to represent good value for supporters.

The proposed admission prices were then discussed with and approved by the Darlington FC Supporters Group (DFCSG) Board, whose members are elected by, and represent, our fan owners. Their role is to ensure that decisions such as these are made in the best interests of both our supporters and the long-term future of the club.

The matchday admission prices for the 2026/27 season are as follows:

Adults: £17
Concessions: £13
Under 18s: £7
Under 12s: Free

Seating

Adults: £19
Concessions: £15
Under 18s: £9

While no increase is ever welcome, this adjustment is necessary to help the club meet rising costs and continue investing where it matters most. Every pound generated through admission income stays within Darlington FC, helping to support the playing budget, maintain our facilities and strengthen the foundations of a sustainable, supporter-owned football club.
