One of our teams from the youth section has reached a final!
Following in the footsteps of our Under 18s and Under 14s who have recently reached cup finals, the Under 11s reached their league cup final last weekend when they won their semi final by 3-2.
Head of Youth Paul Thomas said; “It was a great performance by the youngsters, there are some very good players in that squad.
“We’re very pleased that they’ve reached a cup final, it’s a reward for all the hard work of the players and the coaches throughout the season.”
There’s the potential for more cup final appearances and league honours yet.
The Under 12s have won their league, winning all 12 of their matches and scoring more than 150 goals – congratulations to them!
The Under 8s are through to their league cup semi final, and the Under 14 Quakers are second in the Durham Premier League.
The Under 14 Quakers are top of their development league and looking good to win it.
The Under 15s are playing a league above their age group, and are top of their division – which speaks volumes for their ability!
Our Under 18s will play their County Cup final at Newton Aycliffe on Friday 20th April against the winners of the other semi between Spennymoor Town and Stockton Town – why not pop along and support the youngsters?
