An update for all our season ticket holders and 500 Club members

Deadline Friday 9th October 5pm

Firstly, we’d like to thank all our 500 Club members and season ticket holders, along with our whole fanbase, for their support over the close season. As a supporter owned club season ticket funds are a vital part of keeping our club sustainable. Whilst these are incredibly difficult times for football clubs across the country, we also recognise the challenges and uncertainty the pandemic has caused to everyone’s lives, which makes the support from our fans even more appreciated.

In preparation for a potential start behind closed doors we have worked hard over the last couple of months to get QuakerTV, our live streaming service for home games, in place. This is a multi-camera production with graphics, slow motion replays, HT & FT highlights alongside full match commentary from our Darlo Fans Radio team. We are aiming for QuakerTV to be the next best experience to being at the game whilst we have to play our home games without our brilliant fans and we’ve had a fantastic response to our first live stream.

500 Club members and season ticket holders are guaranteed to be the first back in the ground watching Alun and the team when fans return for games, this will be especially important if we initially re-start with a limited capacity. 500 Club and season ticket holders will also get access to QuakerTV for all our home National League North games behind closed doors starting with our clash against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday October 10th. In addition to reward loyalty and commitment and to reflect the additional cost over and above a standard streaming pass we will apply a per game credit for each match that is played behind closed doors. The credit will be redeemable at the end of the 20/21 season against:

  • Hospitality
  • 21/22 Season Ticket purchase
  • 21/22 Home Friendlies
  • Quaker Retail

The per game credit value will be calculated pro-rata: (Season ticket or 500 Club cost / number of games behind closed doors) – minus the streaming pass and voucher cost. This credit will be applied to individuals YourClub account’s along with details of how to redeem it.

We will be issuing all 500 Club members and season ticket holders with their voucher code for streaming access on Wednesday and your voucher code will also be listed in your YourClub account from Thursday onwards. If you haven’t signed up for YourClub yet – full details can be found here. This voucher code will remain unchanged for all our league games and is specific to each individual. It should not be shared with anyone else.

We do recognise that whilst the above are significant benefits for season ticket holders they are not what people signed up for originally when purchasing their season ticket and so for those fans that wish to have a refund on their season ticket we can offer a full refund option. With the first league match starting on Saturday we have put in place a deadline of 5pm on Friday October 9th to claim your refund. Please email seasontickets@darlingtonfc.org if you wish to request your refund with your bank details, name, address and FANID (located in YourClub account and on your season card).

Alternatively, if you would like to defer your season ticket until the start of the 21/22 season, we are happy to do so. The deadline to claim the deferral of your season ticket until Season 21/22 is 5pm on Friday October 9th. Please email seasontickets@darlingtonfc.org if you wish to request this.

The above season ticket options apply to both traditional season ticket holders and Pay Monthly season ticket holders.

For 500 Club members given the long time elapsed since the purchase of the 20/21 season portion of your 500 Club membership we are unable to offer a refund option. You can choose to defer your 500 Club membership for a year, until the start of the 2021/22 season. The deadline to claim the deferral of your 500 Club membership is 5pm on Friday October 9th. Please email seasontickets@darlingtonfc.org if you wish to request this.

Any season ticket holder applying for a refund/deferral or any 500 Club member applying for a deferral should note that if you still wish to watch QuakerTV you will have to do so on a match-by-match basis at a cost of £7.99.

To summarise you have 3 options (A/B/C) if you are a season ticket holder and 2 options if you are a 500 Club member (A/B):

  1. A) Take QuakerTV and credit – This is the default option and will apply automatically to season ticket holders and 500 Club members whilst games remain behind closed doors. Individual voucher codes to be emailed on Wednesday.
  2. B) Defer season ticket or 500 Club membership until the 21/22 season – Please send us an email requesting this.
  3. C) Full refund – Please send us an email requesting this.

Please send all requests and questions to: seasontickets@darlingtonfc.org

To conclude we are extremely excited about commencing our home league season on Saturday with the squad Alun has assembled and thank you again for your continued support through these challenging times.
