Darren Bennett hasn’t been in touch with his family since last Saturday, and naturally his loved ones are desperately trying to find him.

His sister in law Julie Bennett has been in touch with the club asking for our help in finding him. She says: “Darren is from Darlington but lives in Newton Aycliffe with his wife and daughter and works in Darlington. He has gone missing without a trace on Saturday 27th August. His car has not been seen since he disappeared. This is completely out of character for Darren and as his family we are all worried sick about him. The police have now issued appeals to the media and across social media to attempt to help with their enquiries and hopefully get him home safely. “Darren's brother (my husband) and dad both attend all Darlington home games and many of the away games.”
