Darlington Football Club can confirm that Steve Watson will leave his role as First Team Manager with immediate effect.

The decision was reached by mutual agreement between the Darlington FC directors and Steve following discussions over the past few days.

Steve leaves with our gratitude for his leadership, dedication and commitment over nearly three years as First Team Manager. However, the Club and Steve have agreed that now is the right time to appoint a new manager to take the Club forward.  We wish Steve every success for the future.

In the meantime, Terry Mitchell will lead the team as Caretaker Manager while the Club conducts its search for a suitably qualified replacement. The position will be advertised shortly.
