Academy face Harrogate on Wednesday
Come and support the Academy lads!
Our new Academy has just started at Blackwell Meadows, and they are playing their matches in the National League Youth Alliance (Division I).
Home games take place on the training pitches at Blackwell Meadows, and on Wednesday the lads are taking on Harrogate Town in their third match of the season.
They have already played two matches, losing the first by a late goal, and the second a 2-2 draw – not bad results considering that they were playing teams containing players generally a year older.
Academy head coach Alan White and first team manager Tommy Wright have been with the lads over the last three weeks, and they are very pleased with their progress.
So why not pop down to Blackwell Meadows and watch them in action on Wednesday afternoon, kick off 2pm?
