Darlington Under 18s 5 South Shields Under 18s 0
The Under 18s advanced to the next round of the County Cup with a comfortable 5-0 home win over South Shields, scoring four times in the first half.
Dale Milburn continued his great scoring form with a hat trick, with Charlie Wigley and Danny Raw getting the others.
Quakers were without four of their regulars, and manager Andrew Jinks said; “It was a very good first half performance, we were 4-0 up at half time. We swopped things around in the second half and gave some of the other players opportunities.”
Quakers’ next game is the big FA Youth Cup tie at Ryton and Crawcrook, the date has to be arranged yet.
