Let's GO for 3 in 4!

The Quakers host Skelmersdale United at the Brewery Field on Tuesday, knowing that victory or a draw will see them go top of the table for the first time since October.

Darlington were 2-0 winners at Grantham Town on Saturday thanks to goals from Stephen Thompson and Liam Hardy.

A great day was completed with news that Skelmersdale did Darlington a huge favour at Croft Park, as they won 2-1 away to Blyth.

This leaves the Quakers just one point behind Blyth with two games in hand, as we go into the final five games of the season.

Saturday's team:

Jameson, Hunter, Galbraith, Turnbull (sub Portas 44), Burgess, Brown, Mitchell, Scott (sub Nowakowski 63), Gaskell (sub Armstrong 58), Hardy, Thompson

Subs: Cartman, Provett

Skelmersdale sit in 14th place in the league table, having secured their Evo-Stik Premier status in recent weeks.  They have won five games away from home in the league this season, including the victory at Blyth at the weekend.

They are on a good run in the league at the moment, having only lost once in their last seven fixtures.

Latest form:

April 9th Blyth (away) won 2-1 Hazeldine, Almond

April 2nd Barwell (home) drew 3-3 Almond 2, Hazeldine

March 28th Nantwich (home) lost 0-1
