The Quakers look to build on a big three points on Bank Holiday Monday away at Radcliffe as they return to Blackwell Meadows to welcome King’s Lynn Town. 

Darlo come into the fixture after a 1-0 win away at the Neuven Stadium, where a Mark Beck penalty in the first half and a penalty save from Bobby Jones helped bring the three points back to Darlington. 

Darlington’s opponents, King’s Lynn Town, have had a similar start to the Quakers with two wins and one draw in the first six games, which has gained them seven points and puts them 14th in the table. 

The Linnets come into this game after a big 3-1 win against Scarborough, who had started the season strong, with the goals for King’s Lynn coming from Jesse Nwabueze, Carlton Ubaezuonu and Reece Hall-Johnson. 

The last time the two sides met was back in December, when both sides shared a point at Blackwell Meadows in a 1-1 draw, with Darlo’s goal coming from Aidan Rutledge. 

 

📰TEAM NEWS 

Max Kilsby has suffered an MCL injury and will remain out for an extended period but is working on recovery. 

Max Howells has a hamstring issue and is several weeks away. 

Tom Platt is still recovering from hamstring issues and is several weeks away. 

Will Hatfield is on track but remains several weeks out. 

Scott Barrow is suffering from a heart condition which needs further analysis from a cardiologist and will be out indefinitely. 

Two or three players have suffered some knocks and were being assessed at training on Thursday night with the aim of being fit enough for King’s Lynn. 

Thomas Bryant will be available for this game before serving his suspension for the red card and will miss the Chorley game.

Ross Crane remains a bright spark for King’s Lynn, already scoring two goals in four games for The Linnets this season, and will be one to watch if he plays. 

Another player starting this season well for King’s Lynn is Jesse Nwabueze, who signed for the club in the summer from Aveley and has found the back of the net twice in six games.
