The Quakers look to remain in the playoff spots WHEN they welcome Marine to Blackwell Meadows on Saturday.

Darlo come into this game after a big win away at South Shields, where Cedric Main’s first-half goal was enough for the Quakers to take home the three points and give The Mariners their second loss at home in the league.

At Blackwell Meadows this season, the Quakers have been a solid side with nine wins and five draws in 21 home games with 39 goals scored and 29 conceded for a total of 32 points, which puts them 9th in the home form table.

Darlington’s opponents, Marine, have had a good season and currently sit 12th in the league with 17 wins and 7 draws in 41 games.

Most recently, Marine had a Wednesday night game against Hereford, which resulted in a 1-0 loss to the Bulls.

Finlay Sinclair-Smith has been a real danger for Marine this season, getting himself ten goals and five assists. One of his goals came when Darlington travelled to Marine and won 4-1, with him scoring their solitary goal.  His last goal came on Easter Monday in their victory over Chorley, which took him to double figures in goals.

Charlie Jolley is another attacking threat who is on loan at Marine from league leaders AFC Fylde. Since joining just before Christmas, he has scored nine goals for them in the league. He scored against Darlington in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup for AFC Fylde when the two sides drew at the Mill Farm earlier in the season.
