The Quakers take on the future stars of Boro
Darlington have arranged to play Middlesbrough U21s in a pre-season friendly at Blackwell Meadows on Friday 24th July, kick off 7.30 pm.
The Boro finished 16th in the Premier League 2 and qualified for the playoffs, but fell short to top of the league Chelsea in the first round of the playoffs, and it will be a good test for both sides to warm up for the season ahead.
Over the years, the Quakers have seen many players come from Middlesborough U21s, with the likes of Charlie Lennon, Max Howells and Alfie Myers-Smith being the most recent examples.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for under-18s, with under-12s admitted free. Tickets can be purchased here.
