Darlington Football Club is looking to organise a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety. This qualification is designed for people who work, or wish to work, in the match day and events stewarding industry.

This valuable qualification qualifies the holder for paid work opportunities at football clubs, arenas and music venues throughout the country. Do you know a student or someone looking for flexible part-time work? This free course could be ideal. As well as earning money they would also get to work at some great venues, see sporting events and music gigs.

The course is free and open to anyone over the age of 16. There are no strings attached and no obligation on participants to become volunteer stewards for the Club; however a joint aim of offering this course is to recruit more volunteer match-day stewards who, in turn, would help us make a considerable saving on our matchday security costs.

The course starts on Thursday, 28th June 2018 and will be held at Blackwell Meadows.
