Former player passes away
The club is very sad to learn that former player Doug Robson has passed away in hospital at the age of 78.
Doug, a defender, signed for Quakers in March 1963, and made his debut in the 5-1 home win over Stockport County on 29th March 1963. He went on to play 35 games for us before he left the club at the end of the 1964-65 season.
He was once described as "as tough as teak with a touch of class".
Our sincere condolences go to Doug's family at this very sad time.
