Attacker is back on a short-term deal

Darlington are excited to announce the signing of Ethan Fitzhugh on a short-term deal with the club, subject to National League and FA clearance.

Ethan, 23, is an exciting attacker who started his career in the academy set-up at Leicester and was with them for twelve years, where he was a regular in their under-21 and under-23 sides. After his time at Leicester, Ethan would spend time at Banbury and Mickleover before earning a move to Buxton in the summer of 2024.

While at The Bucks, Ethan would play 32 league games, where he contributed three goals, with one coming against Darlington in a season where Buxton finished inside the playoffs. After an impressive season at Buxton, Ethan would get a move to the National League with Gateshead. Ethan would make 11 appearances and spend time on loan at Kettering Town before leaving Gateshead.

After leaving The Heed, Ethan came to Darlington in March, where he would make his debut against Leamington away from home and would make five appearances before the end of the season.

We’re happy to have you back, Ethan, and we wish you every success during your time at the club.
