Unfortunately for the Quakers, their Bank Holiday Monday game with Whitby Town was postponed.
Blyth were victorious on Saturday when they won 1-0 at Stamford, Danny Maguire scoring the only goal of the game in the second half.
Blyth then moved four points clear on Monday after they comfortably beat Workington 3-0. Nathan Buddle scored the opening goal, before Robbie Dale scored twice to seal the victory.
Salford City remain in third place despite being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Whitby Town at the weekend.
On Monday Salford returned to winning ways at bottom club Ramsbottom United. Billy Priestley, Gary Stopforth, Jordan Hulme and an own goal from Dylan Smith giving Salford a 4-0 win.
Ashton United were able to pick up three points at home to Ilkeston, 2-1. Matthew Chadwick and Christopher Baguley put Ashton in control before half-time and they were able to hold on despite a late goal from Roy Lee.
Ashton cemented their place in the playoffs with a 4-0 win at Hyde United on Monday. Chadwick scored twice, with Baguley and James Dean adding the other goals
Stourbridge were able to aid their playoff bid with a 3-0 win at home to Buxton on Saturday. Justin Richards, Karl Hawley and Daniel Scarr scored the goals for the hosts in the final 30 minutes.
However, they suffered a surprise defeat at Halesowen Town on Monday. Daniel Sweeney and Dumitru Chiriac giving Halesowen a 2-0 win.
Barwell’s top five hopes suffered a blow when they lost 2-1 at Nantwich Town. Joshua Hancock opened the scoring for the hosts before Jamie Towers levelled for Barwell early in the second half. However, in injury time Max Harrop earned all three points for Nantwich.
Barwell dropped more points as they lost at home to relegation threatened Stamford on Wednesday. Curtis Hartley scored the only goal of the game for Stamford shortly before half-time.
Ramsbottom United are all but relegated from the division despite a point at Sutton Coldfield on Saturday. Ramsbottom led twice through Steve Foster and Cameron Horner, but Cameron Gayle and Jean-Michael Gueyes earned a point for the hosts.
Colwyn Bay are also in deep trouble after three loses this week starting with defeat at Frickley Athletic. Jacob Hazel scored the only goal of the game for Frickley in the 61st minute.
On Monday Colwyn Bay lost 3-0 at home to Marine, Daniel Mitchley, James Short and Charlie Barnett with the goals.
Colwyn Bay lost again on Thursday against Mickleover Sports. Carl Lamb had given Colwyn the lead after just four minutes, but goals from Jake Green and Andrew Dales saw Mickleover win the game 2-1.
Micklover Sports beat Hyde United to help their chances of survival and drag their opponents further into the relegation battle. John McGrath scored the only goal of the game for Mickleover.
Between these two victories Mickleover Sports won again on Bank Holiday Monday 2-0 at Ilkeston. Niall Thompson and John McGrath scored the goals inside the final ten minutes.
Matlock Town lost 2-1 at home to Skelmersdale United. Laurie Wilson gave Matlock the lead, but goals from Robert McIntosh and a Thomas Burgin own goal gave Skelmersdale the victory.
Matlock lost again on Monday at Buxton at 3-0, thanks to goals from Bradley Barraclough and a double from Nicky Walker.
Buxton faced another of the relegation candidates on Thursday night, when they suffered a dramatic 3-2 home defeat against Marine. Daniel Mitchley had given Marine the lead, but a double from Ashley Worsfold appeared to have won the game for Buxton. However, two penalties in the final two minutes from Andrew Owen saw Marine pick up a huge three points in their fight for survival.
Frickley Athletic fell to defeat at Grantham Town on Monday, Dylan Burns scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute for Grantham. However, Frickley were able to bounce back with a 1-0 win over Nantwich Town on Wednesday thanks to a goal from Jacob Hazel.
Darlington’s next opponents Sutton Coldfield picked up a 1-0 win at Rushall Olympic on Bank Holiday Monday, thanks to a strike from Jean-Michael Gueyes.
Despite slipping away from the playoff places, Nantwich Town are still in eighth place after a 1-0 at Skelmersdale, after Elliot Osborne scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot.
Darlington have a busy week, as they play three times, at home to Sutton Coldfield on Saturday, away to Frickley Athletic on Tuesday and finally we host Nantwich Town on Thursday night. Elsewhere Blyth Spartans face two away games at Ilkeston and Hyde United.
