FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw
By Ray Simpson
Game to be played on weekend of 18th, 19th and 20th October
Quakers will play either Tamworth or Hereford in the fourth qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup on the weekend of 18th, 19th and 20th October.
The date of the game will be confirmed soon once we have touched base with our eventual opponents.
The two sides drew 0-0 at Tamworth on Saturday, and the replay is at Edgar Street tomorrow night.
Tamworth are currently third in the BetVictor Southern Premier League Central (one step below us), while Hereford are in the same league as ourselves and are currently sixth. They include former Darlington players Reece Styche and Jordan Nicholson in their squad.
Darlington manager Alun Armstrong said; "I would have preferred a home tie, but we've played well away from home in the FA Cup so far. The lads will be in the right mood, just as they were last Saturday, they don't want the run to stop."
This is the first time as a fan-owned club that Quakers have played at this stage, so now is the time to turn out in force and see if the lads can get through to the first round proper!
