Darlington midfielder Jack Lambert scored the winner for Quakers to give them four points for the weekend and their second home win of the season.
Quakers deserved the three points, but they missed several good chances -- and Lambert also missed a penalty -- which might have cost them in the end.
But Lambert got the winner with nine minutes left to lift the nerves around Blackwell Meadows. It was the first home win over Farsley for eight years.
Here's the reaction of Alun, Jack and Jassem Sukar to the win.

Quakers nearly took the lead on 9 minutes when Adriano Moke played a 1-2 with Jack Lambert in the area, and his low sidefooted shot towards the bottom left corner was pushed away by Max Dearnley in the Farsley goal.
Ben Hedley then played a good crossfield ball to Kaine Felix, who was forced wide but still got in a low shot that Dearnley booted away.
From Lambert’s deep corner, Mark Beck got his head to the ball at the far post, but Dearnley saved under the bar.
From another short corner between Lambert and Griffiths, Lambert crossed to the far post where Beck’s header was saved on the line by Dearnley.
Farsley gained their first corner on 20 minutes, but Adam Clayton headed well over the top.
Quakers hit the woodwork on 22 minutes. Griffiths again found space on the right and played the ball into the box where Felix’s right foot shot on the turn rebounded off the bar.
Farsley briefly got back into the game, but on 34 minutes Quakers nearly opened the scoring when Griffiths, again well forward, just managed to stop the ball going out of play and lofted the ball into the middle where Hazel headed just over the top.
Farsley posed danger for the first time on 40 minutes when Jimmy Spencer got into the box, but Griffiths blocked his effort well.
Half time 0-0
Straight after half time, Sukar found Hedley on the left, and the full back beat two defenders before floating the ball into the middle where Beck just failed to get a touch.
Farsley responded with a low shot by Frank Mulhern, that Taylor smothered.
Quakers burst into life on the hour when Lambert picked the ball up in midfield, made a good run to the edge of the box where he hit a right foot shot that the keeper saved at the second attempt.
Farsley went close though on 67 minutes when Bobby Johnson curled a free kick over from the right for Spencer to glance wide of the left hand post.
Quakers were awarded a penalty on 69 minutes when Hedley crossed from the left, and Griffiths was tripped as sidestepped a defender, but Lambert’s penalty was saved low down to his left by Dearnley.
Farsley almost took advantage on the break when Spencer got away but Taylor saved his low effort.
But Quakers finally broke through on 81 minutes. Beck got his head to a right wing cross by Griffiths, and the ball dropped for Lambert to hit first time, and the ball took a deflection off a defender and rolled into the net with the keeper going the wrong way.
Farsley threw men forward for the equaliser, and full back Kian Scales moved up and fired well over the top.
Quakers nearly got a second when Mondal crossed from the right for Beck to head down, but the ball hit a defender on the ground and was cleared.
