Quakers sign midfielder on loan from Scunthorpe United

Ex Boro lad Jack Lambert signs on loan

Quakers have today signed midfielder Jack Lambert on a 28 day loan from Scunthorpe.

Jack, 20, started his career at Middlesbrough when Alun Armstrong was on the coaching staff there, before he moved on to Dundee in the Scottish Premier League for two seasons before he signed for Scunthorpe United in the summer.

He has just recovered from injury, and now wants to gain some match experience with Quakers over the next few weeks, although he isn’t eligible for the Walsall match.

AA said; “I’ve known Jack since he was a youngster at Middlesbrough. He’s a number 10 who can also play out wide. Technically, he’s a very good footballer, who creates a lot of chances.”

You can watch an interview with Jack below.
