Message to Darlo fans
Following the completion of his move to League Two side Barnet, Jack Maskell has sent a message of thanks to everyone at Darlington Football Club.
Jack joined the Quakers from Dunston in the summer of 2024 and scored 23 goals in 87 appearances during his two seasons with the club.
After signing his first professional contract, Jack said: “I’m very excited to have finally signed my first professional contract and can’t wait to get started.
“I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Darlo for giving me the privilege of playing for such a great club and meeting such great people along the way.
“I couldn’t have done it without the management trusting me and giving me the platform to improve and show everyone what I can do.
“Most importantly, I want to thank the fans, who raise an astonishing amount every year. I wouldn’t have been given the chance at Darlo if it wasn’t for that, and I’m forever grateful.
“You’ve all made me feel so welcome from the first time I met everyone. I’ve loved every minute of being there and made some class memories.
“I’m gutted we didn’t make the play offs, but I’m more than certain you’re in good hands with the Gaffer and Terry.
“All the best for the future. Up the Quakers!”
Everyone at Darlington would like to thank Jack for his contribution to the club and wish him every success as he joins Barnet.
