Job Opportunity – Darlo Fans Lottery Volunteer Co-ordinator

The Darlo Fans Lottery has been running since 2012 and provides a valuable source of income for the Football Club of over £17,000 per year.

Due to a change in personal circumstances, a job opportunity has arisen as volunteer Co-ordinator. The role of the Lottery Co-ordinator is an essential component of the success of this valuable fundraising activity.

The Lottery Co-ordinator is required to devote between 8 to 10 hours per month and can be carried out from home.

Applicants would need to have access to a PC/laptop with Microsoft Excel and Word.

The role involves:

  • Monitoring receipts from the draw participants;
  • Allocating draw numbers to new participants;
  • Undertaking the twice weekly draws;
  • Liaising with the DFC and DFCSG to announce prize winners;
  • Liaising with the prize winners and the DFCSG Treasurer to arrange payments; and
  • Maintaining records of past winners and proceeds.

The role would particularly suit someone with administrative/clerical experience.
