Former Darlington winger Martin Smith is the latest player to confirm that he’ll be playing in the Legends game next month.
Smith started his career at Sunderland, helping them win promotion to the Premier League, and after leaving Sunderland, went on to play for Sheffield United, Huddersfield and Northampton from where he joined us in the summer of 2006.
He played 41 games for us, scoring 10 times, including an exquisite left footed volley on the turn in the FA Cup away to Lewes in 2006.
