🔥 Match Preview

Darlo look to build on a fantastic team performance at home against Spennymoor as they travel midweek to face Morecambe for the second time this season, but the first in the league.

The Quakers come into this Tuesday night game after an impressive and first home win of the season, winning 3-0 against Spennymoor, with a Dylan Stephenson stealing the show with a hat-trick.

Away from home this season, Darlo have been able to pick up a couple of wins, with two wins in six, scoring ten goals and conceding 16, which has gained the Quakers six points and puts us 16th in the away form table.

Darlington’s opponents, Morecambe, have been able to find some results after a slow start to the league and currently sit 11th in the league and come in off a 3-1 win away at Merthyr Town.

At the Halo Aerospace Stadium this season, the Shrimps have been a strong side with three wins and one draw in five home games, with ten goals and three conceded for a total of 10 points, which puts them 12th in the home form table.

The two sides have met already this season in the FA Cup, where, unfortunately for the Quakers, Morecambe walked out 3-0 winners and progressed to the next round of the FA Cup.
