In the latest of our summer series, here's our latest Pic from the Past courtesy of Craig Stoddart and the Northern Echo
The interest in Darlington’s FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough in the mid-80s was huge, as demonstrated by this photograph taken of the queue for tickets at Feethams. A crowd of 14,237 packed into Feethams for the third round replay one chilly evening in January 1985, with the home supporters leaving happy after pulling off a 2-1 win over their neighbours from along the A66.
