Snow, snow and more snow. The scene at Feethams in January 1968, a situation repeated at grounds up and down the country at the time.
Darlington were able to play only two matches in this month, both draws. One was 0-0 at Notts County, the other 2-2 at home to Port Vale with goals by Harry Kirk and Bobby Cummings.
Quakers finished the campaign 16th in Division Four, while we reached the fifth round of the League Cup, losing a nine-goal thriller 5-4 to Derby County in front of 23,000 at the Baseball Ground.
