Darlington look to build on their dramatic 3-2 win over Salford City on Tuesday when they face Nantwich Town at Heritage Park this weekend. The win saw the Quakers move up to second place in the league table, thirteen points behind league leaders Blyth Spartans with four games in hand.

Manager Martin Gray said: "I really hope that the fans turn out in force on Saturday, because they really made a big difference on Tuesday night against Salford. They really helped the players in those closing minutes when we were 2-1 down. As I've said several times over the past four years, the fans can really be our twelfth man. We'll need their help again on Saturday, because Nantwich are going well at the moment."

Nantwich Town had been in promotion contention earlier on this season, but have lost ground, as they now sit in ninth place, ten points off the playoffs.

However, Nantwich have had quite an extraordinary run in the FA Trophy and just last Saturday they progressed to the semi-final stage where they will meet Halifax over two legs. In their fantastic run they have been able to pick up victories over Salford City, Stourbridge, Bradford PA and in the quarter-finals Dover. They will now play Halifax Town in the two-legged semi final on March 12th and 19th.

Their last league outing was a 1-1 draw away to Matlock Town. Away from home this season they have won five out of 16 in the league. Last season they finished in 15^th place in the Evo-Stik Premier.

The two sides are yet to meet this season, with the reverse fixture due to take place on Tuesday March 22^nd.
