Quakers look to return to winning ways on Wednesday night at home to former Football League club Stockport County.
Darlington suffered their second home defeat in a row on Friday night as they lost 1-0 at home to Kidderminster, a result which saw the side slip out of the play-off places to sixth spot, but only four points behind leaders Salford.
Stockport sit in mid-table after a mixed start to the start which sees them two points below the Quakers.
On Saturday they came from behind twice to win 3-2 at Altrincham and clinch their second victory on the road so far this season.

The last time the two sides met was in the 2011/12 season, Stockport won 1-0 at the Arena, but earlier in the season Darlington came away from the reverse fixture with a 4-3 win.

County are managed by Jim Gannon, who is in his third spell in charge of the club, having played over 350 times for the club as a player. He returned to them after a spell as manager of Northwich Victoria from the EvoStik First Division North.
Darlington manager Martin Gray said; “It’s another really big game for the club, a game we’re very much looking forward to and looking to get back to winning ways straight away,” he said. “We know it will be another tough challenge.
“In certain areas of Friday night’s game Kidderminster’s full time status showed through in their performance, but overall we should have won the game with the chances we created, especially in the last thirty minutes of the game.
“There were lots of positives to take out of the game, in terms of chances created and in general play, and so we have got to keep that self belief.”
