Darlington look to win their third away game in a row on Saturday when we travel to Nuneaton Town.

The Quakers moved into the play-off places with a 2-1 win at home to Stockport County on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Mark Beck and Adam Mitchell.

Darlington team on Wednesday:

Jameson, Marrs, Galbraith, Turnbull, Watson, Hunter, Thompson (sub Purewal 78), Portas (sub Nowakowski 71), Beck, Hardy (sub Cartman 50), Mitchell

Subs:  Bell, Scott

Our opponents on Saturday are Nuneaton Town, who currently sit in 20th place in the league after picking up five points from their opening eight games. So far from their four home games they have picked up just one point.

Their latest game was a 2-1 defeat at Brackley Town on Tuesday night, but three days before that, they won 4-0 at Stalybridge.

Their recent results have been:

September 6th Brackley (away) lost 1-1

September 3rd Stalybridge (away) won 4-0

August 29th AFC Telford United (home) drew 1-1

August 27th Harrogate Town (away) lost 1-3

But manager Martin Gray warned: “It isn’t a given that we’ll win,” he said. “One thing we’ve noticed in this league is that we have to work hard right the way up to the 95th minute when the final whistle sounds. We’ve had to work hard to earn every point, and we need to continue doing that. Just because Nuneaton are third bottom doesn’t mean that it will be any different, it won’t be.”

The club was reformed in 2008 as Nuneaton Town and achieved three promotions as they quickly rose to the Conference Premier. However, they were relegated back to the National League North in 2015. Last season they finished just outside the play-offs in sixth place.

Kick off on Saturday is 3:00pm, updates on the game will be made from the club's Facebook, Twitter, Mobile App and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 2:50pm
