Quakers play their last friendly of the pre season build up when they face a Football League club behind closed doors on Saturday.

Quakers will have a pretty good test against their opponents, and manager Martin Gray will be expecting nothing less than 110 per cent from his players in the last warm up game ahead of the big kick off against Altrincham in the Vanarama National League North next Saturday.

Virtually all of the squad are available, with new signing Josh Gillies, signed after failing to agree terms with Gateshead, expected to be included at some point.

Overall, Quakers have performed well in pre season and are in good shape. The high point was the 2-0 home win over Sunderland, and the low was the 5-1 home defeat by Newcastle. There have also been victories over Buxton, Harrogate RA and Billingham Synthonia, and a defeat against Gateshead.

There’ll be a report and some follow up on the official website after the game.
