Darlington have today signed left wing back Ben O’Hanlon from Harrogate Town until the end of the season.
Ben, 21, started his career at Wolves, and progressed through their age groups up to the Under 23 level. He also gained caps at England under 16, Under 17 and Under 18 level.
Whilst he was at Wolves, he was loaned to out to Corby and Nuneaton when Tommy Wright was their manager, and when he was released by Wolves in the summer, he joined Harrogate Town on a full time basis. He has now mutually terminated his contract at Harrogate, enabling him to join Quakers. Therefore, there is no transfer fee involved.
Darlington manager Tommy Wright said; “Ben will give us natural balance in the system we have been operating in. He is a player I know a lot about, having managed him when he was on loan from Wolves at both Corby and Nuneaton. He is a former England international and loves to get forward.”
Ben can also play at left back if required.
We would like to wish Ben all the best in his stay with us.
