Loan defender arrives
Darlington have today signed defender Charlie Stirland on a month's loan from MK Dons.
Charlie, who is 19, started his career at Middlesbrough, and when he was released by them, moved to MK Dons.
He has been playing regularly for their under 18s, and as a first year pro, been a member of their first team squad. He made his debut for the first team in the EFL Trophy in November.
After that, he was loaned out to Oxford City in our league for four games before picking up an injury – from which he has now recovered – before returning to Stadium MK.
You can watch a Zoom interview with Charlie here:
We'd like to wish Charlie, who is on loan until 26th March, all the best while he is with us.
We'd like to thank MK Dons for their help and assistance with the loan.
