Darlington have signed Jack Hannah on loan from Middlesbrough.

Jack, 20, is a central defender, who started his career at Middlesbrough in the under 8s, and progressed through all the age groups.

He captained the under 18s when he was a scholar, and is now playing regularly in the club’s Under 21 team. He signed a new contract with Boro in November last season.

Jack is on loan to us until 28^th October, and Middlesbrough have given us permission to put him in our squad for the FA Cup tie against Scarborough on Saturday, for which we are grateful.

We’d like to thank Middlesbrough for their help in arranging the loan, and we wish Jack all the best in his stay with us.
