Darlington are excited to announce the signing of Jacob Render from Leeds United on a short-term loan, subject to National League and FA clearance. 

Jacob, 18, is an exciting attacking prospect who is comfortable anywhere in the front three and is looking to experience his first real taste of senior football while at the Quakers.  

Jacob joined Leeds at Under 14s level and has worked his way up through the ranks and is now a regular at U21s level, scoring a goal and getting an assist in two Premier League 2 games already this season. 

Jacob signed his first professional contract with Leeds in the summer after performing in the U21s and U18s side with goals against Gateshead in the National League Cup and experience against League Two Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup last season. 

Jacob comes straight into the team ahead of our FA Cup Qualifier against Redcar Town.
