Quakers sign keeper David Robson on loan

Arrival from Hull

Darlington FC have today signed goalkeeper David Robson on loan from Hull City.

David, who is 21, has worked his way through the levels at Hull, and signed his first professional contract in December 2019.

He made his Hull debut against Bradford City in the EFL Cup in August 2022, before moving to Crawley on loan, playing six matches.

He then made eight appearances for Farsley Celtic, and played a key role in them avoiding relegation. He signed a new contract with Hull in June this year.

David has also been capped by Wales Under 17 and Wales Under 21.

He is on loan to us up to and including the home game against Spennymoor on 28th October, and he goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Scarborough.

We’d like to thank Hull City for their help in arranging David’s loan, and wish David all the best during his spell with us.
