Quakers sign Myles Boney on loan

Keeper arrives from South Shields

Quakers have today signed keeper Myles Boney on loan from South Shields.

Myles, 22, started his career at Blackpool and made his debut for them as a 17 year old in a Football League Trophy tie.

He had loan spells at Nantwich and Solihull Moors, before joining Shields on loan in the summer of 2019.

He helped them to a 12 point lead at the top of the Northern Premier League last season before it was curtailed, and in the summer of 2020 he made his move permanent.

Manager Alun Armstrong said; "We have a busy schedule of games coming up, and we need cover in the goalkeeper's position."

We would like to thank South Shields for their help in the loan transfer, and wish Myles every success with us.
