Quakers sign Oli Thompson from Gateshead

Forward arrives on a month's loan
Darlington have today signed forward Oli Thompson on loan from Gateshead.
Oli, who is 19, spent seven years at Middlesbrough before switching to Gateshead, where he was in their academy before he signed a pro contract.
He made his National League debut for Gateshead in March 2023, and had loan spells at Ashington and Blyth before returning to Gateshead. He played for them in the FA Trophy final win against FC Halifax Town. Here he is with the FA Trophy.

Oli will go straight into our squad to face Leamington on Saturday.
