Darlington have arranged to play National League side Carlisle United in a pre-season friendly at Blackwell Meadows on Tuesday 21st July, kick off 7.45 pm.

The Blues finished in 3rd place in the National League last season with 95 points, but would ultimately fall short in the playoffs semi-finals against Boreham Wood and have recently announced former Gateshead and Crawley Town boss Rob Elliot as new manager and will want to push for automatic promotion next season.

The two sides have met many times before, with the most recent meeting being a 5-0 loss for the Quakers in League Two in the 05/06 season.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for under-18s, with under-12s admitted free. Tickets can be purchased here.
