Former keeper passes away
The club is sad to learn about the passing of our former goalkeeper, Ray Snowball.
Ray, who was 92, was a well known local amateur with Northern League Crook Town before he joined us, winning three FA Amateur Cup finals with them in 1959, 1962 and 1964 at Wembley.
He joined us in the 1964-65 season, playing twelve matches in Division Four, and one more in our Division Three season of 1966-67.
Everyone at the club would like to pass on their sincere condolences to Ray's family and friends.
