Top scorer called up for his country
Darlington striker Reece Styche has been called up to play for Gibraltar to play in the forthcoming UEFA Nations League.
Reece, who qualifies for Gibraltar through his grandmother, has been called up to play for the tiny country in the new UEFA Nations League on Thursday 6th September at home against Macedonia, and Sunday 9th September away at Liechtenstein. He has already been capped once, in 2014.
He will therefore become the first Darlo player to be capped for his country since Franz Bergmeier was capped for Liechtenstein.
Reece has scored five times this season, including a hat trick against Brackley.
We would like to wish Reece all the best for his international call up.
