The Quakers look to stay top of the table when they travel to Skelmersdale United on Tuesday night.

Darlington moved top of the table for the second time in a week on Saturday after victory at Ramsbottom United. Goals from Graeme Armstrong, Rob Youhill and Nathan Cartman saw Darlington win comfortably 3-0. Previous leaders Nantwich Town were held to a 1-1 draw at Colwyn Bay.

Manager Martin Gray will probably have an unchanged squad at his disposal, as strikers David Dowson and Adam Nowakowski are both still out injured.

On Monday it was announced that both Anthony Bell and Ryan Brobbel have been released from the club, neither were involved at Ramsbottom, whose manager Jon Robinson quit on Monday night.

Skelmersdale are 17th in the league despite winning their opening three games. They have lost their last three, including a 2-0 defeat at Bamber Bridge in the FA Cup last weekend. The last two seasons have seen Skelmersdale finish just outside the play-off places, finishing sixth and seventh.

Elsewhere in the league second placed Blyth Spartans are at home to Hyde United.

Kick-off at Skelmersdale on Tuesday is 19:45, and we'll have a match report on line after the game.
