Darlington manager Steve Watson has won the December manager of the month award for the Vanarama National League North!

Quakers won games against Hereford, Needham Market and Scarborough, as well as drawing with Oxford City in the month -- a run which helped propel us towards the play off positions.

A delighted Steve said; "We had a good month, but everything we've done has been a team effort -- my assistant Terry Mitchell, goalkeeping coach Steve Rodden, the rest of the staff and the players -- have all played a part.

"It's nice to be recognised for an award, but there is still a lot of hard work to do this season in order to achieve what we're aiming for."

Everyone at the club is delighted for our management team, and hope that there are more to come.
