π₯ Match Preview
Darlo look to keep their playoff dreams alive when they travel down to Telford for the last away game of the season.
The Quakers come into this game after a 3-2 loss at home to Marine, when Scott Barrow and Cedric Main scored the goals for Darlo. That defeat pushed them down to eighth in the table and needing to win their last two matches for a play off place.
Away from home this season, Darlo have been a good side to watch with 11 wins and three draws in 22 games with 35 goals scored and 32 conceded for a total of 36 points, which puts them 6th in the away form table.
Darlington’s opponents, Telford, have had a good season and find themselves 10th in the league with 17 wins, 13 draws in 44 games, with 84 goals scored and 62 conceded for a total of 64 points.
The Bucks come into this game after a 3-2 win away from home against Peterborough Sports with goals from Remi Walker, Matty Stenson and Kade Craig.
At the New Bucks Head this season, Telford have been hard to beat with 11 wins and 5 draws in 22 home games with 46 goals scored and 29 conceded for a total of 38 points, which puts them 5th in the home form table.
The last time the two teams met was back in October in the early rounds of the FA Cup, when Telford were 6-0 winners, but the last time the teams met at New Bucks Head was back in November 2022, when Darlington were 4-1 winners thanks to a Jack Lambert hat-trick and a goal from Alex Purver.

π€ Player Spotlight
Matthew Stenson is Telford’s top goal scorer this season, with 17 goals in the league, but didn’t feature against Darlington in the other league fixture. However, he scored when Telford were 6-0 victors in the FA Cup. His most recent goal came against Peterborough Sports in a 3-2 victory away from home.
A defender who has been solid at the back for them has been Oliver Cawthorne, who joined Telford from the Panamanian league. The 6-foot-4 defender has scored three goals this season, most recently in a 3-0 rout of Macclesfield.
