🔥 Match Preview

Darlo look to gain a valuable three points as they travel down to the SEAH Stadium to take on Telford on Saturday.

The Quakers come into this game after another point picked up at home in a 1-1 draw against Merthyr Town thanks to a 93rd-minute equaliser from Aidan Rutledge to salvage a point for Darlo.

On the road this season in the league, Darlo have been a respectable force with two wins in five away games, scoring nine goals and conceding 13, which puts us 11th in the away form table in the league with six points.

Darlington’s opponents, Telford, have had a similar slow start to the season and currently sit one place ahead of the Quakers in 22nd on nine points. The Bucks come into this game after a 2-1 loss away at Chorley, with Louis Moult getting the goal for Telford.

At the SEAH Stadium this season, Telford have won one and drawn one in five games, with three goals scored and nine conceded for a total of four points, which puts them 23rd in the home form table.

The last time the two sides met at the SEAH Stadium was late last season in April in a 1-1 draw, with Tom Platt scoring the goal for the Quakers before a late equaliser by Telford meant the points were shared.

👤 Player Spotlight

Matty Stenson will prove a tricky customer for the Darlington; he scored twice in their cup victory and was their top league scorer last season, finding the back of the net 17 times. He has four goals this season, with his last league goal coming against Scarborough.

There is a familiar face within the Telford ranks in Jack Lambert, who has had multiple spells with the club, and he even scored a hat-trick for The Quakers at The New Bucks head in a 4-1 Darlington victory.
